Group Workcamps is coming to Omaha in 2009!
What’s going on?
Mission Omaha Foundation, Inc. partnered with Group Workcamps to bring teens from Nebraska, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma to the Omaha area June 28 - July 4, 2009 to provide home repairs to those in need. This was a project for teens to grow closer with God and build healthy relationships while repairing homes for those in need. It was a great summer experience, and we can’t wait to do it again!
We painted 29 homes, built 2 wheel chair ramps, and 1 deck. The impact to the city of Omaha was amazing!
Check out the Official Mission Omaha Workcamp Facebook Group for photos and other information.
