Group Workcamps is coming to Omaha in 2009!

What’s going on?

Mission Omaha Foundation, Inc. is partnering with Group Workcamps to bring teens from Nebraska, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma to the Omaha area June 28 - July 4, 2009 to provide home repairs to those in need. This is a project for teens to grow closer with God and build healthy relationships while repairing homes for those in need. It’s a great summer experience, and we can’t wait to have you! If you are a camper you can find more information on the camper page. If you want to know how you can help us please check out our volunteer page. What is this “Omaha” place all about?

Situated on the west bank of the Missouri River, near the crossroads of Interstates 80 and 29, Nebraska’s largest city is a destination of choice for creative artists, history buffs, sports fans and anyone who loves a great meal. In Omaha, you’ll be able to have fun at one of the many local attractions while helping us repair homes and the lives of some of the over 15% of Omahans who live in poverty.
