• Heads up the Ladder Team.
• Assist Ladder Team in finding ladders.
• Create a plan for organization of ladders, including storage, distribution to campsites, pickup from campsites upon completion and delivery of ladders back to owners
• Create delivery schedule for and log of distribution of ladders to campsites

• Attend a 2-3 hour training session
• Volunteer 1 to 2 days to travel & evaluate pre-selected sites
o Write directions from the school to the work site
o Visit sites, talking to the resident and verifying what work they would like to have done
o Determine if this work fits our program (cost, skill needed, time project(s) will take)
o Using our forms, describe work that will be done and the materials needed
o Identify if resident has ladder available for use during camp
o Assess any safety precautions that need to be addressed
• Would like some of these individuals to be troubleshooters during the week of the event, giving advice on the work to be done at each site

In the event that a Site Crew does not complete work, we need finishing crews on stand by to wrap up the work. Will you help us?

Some work sites will create construction debris and we will need to work out the collection with local collection service companies or the city, many times they will donate the time and resources to complete the clean up of our sites. Having a person on your team who can “talk trash” is always helpful.

Connect with all local media organizations, including TV, radio, newspaper, and help us get the word out before, during, and after the camp.

1. Provide snacks and fellowship to participants each afternoon as they return from the worksites.
2. Provide welcome snacks and help upon the participants’ arrival in Omaha.
3. Provide lodging the day before the camp begins for the participants who arrive the day before.
4. Visit a group of participants on the worksite one day.
5. Provide logistical backup for miscellaneous tasks that come up.
