Group Workcamps Foundation is Bringing Their Faith Based Teen Mission Trip to Omaha
In June of 2009 Mission Omaha Foundation, Inc. is partnering with Group Workcamps to bring teenagers to Omaha to renovate the houses and hearts of elderly and disabled low income residents. As you can imagine, this type of event requires an army of volunteers to bring it all together.
Although the camp seems like a long way off, there is much that needs to be done! This project has already begun to transform our community as we bring together public and private agencies, for profit and not-for-profit organizations.
And it is not too early to plan for all the good work that needs to be done before, during and after camp. We have a myriad of ways to get involved. We have outlined just some of those special skills and abilities that would have an impact on our work-camp, but no list could capture it all. Whether you give of your time, talent, and/or treasure, it is your act of involvement and love that will make this project a success. Contact us to get involved!
